Whether it's the food or the camaraderie, tailgates are a place that has a euphoric charm about them, taking people back to their college experiences or students making their own memories to reminisce about in the future. There is no shortage of great tailgates in the country, but two schools survived the bracket.

Georgia took on Penn State in the first round and defeated in Alabama in the semifinal. Tennessee's Cinderella story started by upsetting Auburn in the opening matchup and then notched a surprise win over LSU.

From the Georgia Arch to the Dawg Walk, Georgia has plenty to offer in terms of activities for tailgaters. And when you're not exploring the sights, you can go up to any smoker to grab some of the tastiest barbecue you can find in the south.

Here is what Rebecca Burns, publisher of the independent student paper Red and Black, told Sports Illustrated:

[We have] an amazing spirit and attitude. Everybody says that, but it’s very friendly and warm. That hospitality sets us apart. And you can meet the most adorable mascot in all of college football. At Georgia, the tailgating is taken very seriously, it’s “a lot classier” than other parts of the country. History is very important as well.

Sailgating should be a bucket-list item for every college football fan, especially when it's at Tennessee. A fleet of boats will park at the docks right outside of the Neyland Stadium on the Tennessee River. Not only do fans get to enjoy their food and beverages right on the water, they get to hear the roar of the crowd as well. Nothing is quite like it.

Here is what Nancy Campbell told Bleacher Report in 2016:

I love it. You can't beat the location, and the whole nine yards. It's a short walk to the stadium and a short walk back, and you don't have to battle traffic. It's a unique way to spend a football season.
