People are getting their drawers in a twist because a coach grabbed a player by the facemask? If they think that's bad, they should be watching a different sport.
Football is a rough sport and sometimes a coach needs to be a little physical to get his point across. Fisher was just trying to get the attention of his player who was letting his emotions get the best of him. Grabbing his facemask was the best option. Even the player agreed with Fisher. People are just being soft.
If you're a great coach, you don't need to get physical to get your point across. Coaches are supposed to be great teachers and communicators. Getting rough is just an indicator that you can't get the job done.
Coaches need to be held accountable for putting their hands on a player. If you can't communicate without touching your player, you shouldn't be coaching.
