Should ESPN fire Dan Le Batard?

On his radio show, Dan Le Batard tore into President Donald Trump for his rhetoric at a recent rally and ripped his employer, ESPN, for their "cowardly" politics policy. Some sports fans think that politics has no place in sports and after criticizing ESPN, some people feel he should be fired. Others welcome his message, and support is growing for him. ESPN letting another talking head who stands for the fair treatment of people color would be a mistake. What do you think? 🏈

Dan Le Batard may have a platform, but he shouldn't use it to talk about things he has no knowledge of. Politics is a completely different monster than sports and there should be no mixing of two. If Le Batard is right about ESPN's policy on political talk, he clearly violated it. If that's the case, he should be fired.

People want to say what Le Batard said as purely political, but it's more of a human rights statement than anything else. There's nothing wrong with Le Batard standing up for people of color that have been attacked by the President and his supporters. Telling American's to "go back where they came from" is presumptive and not in spirit of the American Dream, where people can come to the country to better themselves and their community however they feel is best.

If ESPN fires Le Batard, they're showing how weak they are by not allowing someone who is defending equality to use his platform. They should support him, not punish him.
