The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t satisfied with being in the middle of the Eastern Conference pack, reportedly trading for talented, but disgruntled Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe. The former Kentucky guard is an athletic defender and finisher who would be a great addition to an already stacked lineup led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, Bledsoe lacks the outside shooting touch the Bucks need on offense to compete with Cleveland and Boston. What do you think? 🏀

Good luck getting past the perimeter on this team. Already one of the better defensive units in the NBA, the Bucks bringing in Bledsoe is a nightmare for opposing guards. He provides another stout defender on the perimeter and an athletic presence on offense who can get to the basket at will.

With the Cleveland Cavaliers struggling, and Boston far from a lock to make the Finals with an injury to Gordon Hayward, the Bucks are going to be representing the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.

As much as Bledsoe provides, he is not the guard that will put the Bucks over the top. He can drive and finish, but he doesn't have the outside shooting touch that can really put Milwaukee in the Eastern Conference driving seat. The team also lost a skilled big in Greg Monroe, who was a matchup problem on the inside against many teams.

While Cleveland is struggling now, the Cavs will figure things out because they have LeBron James, and Boston made the Eastern Conference Finals last year with less talent than they have this year. The Bucks have a long way to go before they can call themselves championship contenders.
