Should EA bring back 'NCAA Football'?

It's been years since Electronic Arts pulled the plug on its "NCAA Football" franchise, leaving many gamers heartbroken. Some look back fondly at the series and hope it comes back soon. Still, the game used the likenesses of athletes without giving them any compensation. Paying all those athletes would cost too much money. Is the franchise dead forever? What do you think? 🏈 🎮

"NCAA Football" remains one of the most beloved franchises in Electronic Arts' history. The rowdiness of the crowd could actually affect your play and you could feel how loud they were with the vibration in your controller. It also had one of the most in-depth franchise modes in all of gaming, complete with recruit management and building your coaching tree. EA Sports would be foolish not to bring it back.

Because of Ed O'Bannon's lawsuit against the NCAA and EA for not compensating him for using his likeness in "NCAA Basketball," the video game publisher had to pony up $60 million to pay the people it used in the game.

EA is not going to pay student-athletes for a video game, especially a football game where there are over 50 players on each team. It would cost the company way too much money. That would be a horrible way to run a business. The "NCAA Football" franchise is gone for good.
