Does Michael Jordan feel threatened by LeBron James?
Jordan has nothing to be afraid of when it comes to basketball. But as much of a competitor as Jordan is, he knows records are meant to broken. He was asked a question, and he gave his opinion.
There is nothing to suggest Jordan has a vendetta against LeBron James, or is afraid James will pass him as the greatest player ever. If LeBron James wins his fifth or sixth championship, you can bet Jordan will be the first to congratulate him.
If anyone knows basketball, they know Jordan is Petty with a capital "P." This is a man who made up slights to motivate himself. It's no surprise that Jordan has become so demoralizing when there's a player who is bigger, stronger and more skilled taking the NBA by storm.
Jordan has publicly said nothing but discouraging statements about LeBron James because he knows James presents the biggest threat to his undisputed legacy. This is why Jordan is still saying other players are better than James, so he can continue to have an edge.
