Fantasy sports is frustrating, exhilarating and entertaining. But it isn't gambling. There is a lot of planning, strategy, and data that go into making the right moves to maximize your score. All those aspects are not part of a game of chance. There is no closing your eyes, throwing a dart at a wall and picking the player it lands on.

Fantasy sports takes knowledge and strategy to succeed. It is a game of skill.

Anything that requires money to play for a chance to win money is gambling—plain and simple. You can dress it up as much as you want, but fantasy sports is gambling.

Regular sports betting is considered gambling, even though there is a certain amount of knowledge and analytics required in order to consistently succeed. Fantasy sports in the same thing. It is gambling.
