The NCAA isn't perfect. No organization is. But to say they don't care about the people they are charged with protecting would be unfair. Progress has been slow, but progress has been made as time has moved forward.

Multiyear scholarships are now being offered and are guaranteed. Food and snacks are now provided in scholarships now. Medical coverage is provided for up to two years after graduation or leaving school.

There is plenty of work to be done, but the NCAA cares about its athletes.
