Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is getting a national championship ring, but he's definitely not putting a ring on everyone who was on the team last season. Former quarterback Kelly Bryant left the team midseason after being replaced by Trevor Lawrence and Swinney feels if he didn't ride with the team, he doesn't deserve a ring. Others feel Bryant contributed a lot last year before being demoted and should get some recognition for his work with the Tigers. What do you think? 🏈

When you quit a team, you abandon the people who struggled with you to build something special. Kelly Bryant made a commitment to Clemson that he would be there for his team when he signed with the Tigers. Instead, he pouted when he lost his starting job and ran away while the team flourished without him. He doesn't deserve the honor of being recognized as part of that team if he was too selfish to stick around.

During his time at Clemson, Kelly Bryant went 15-2 as a starter and was undefeated when he was pulled from that position. Anyone would be justifiably angry if that happened to them.

While his exit was unceremonious, he was an important member of this team and helped them sustain their excellence after Deshaun Watson left for the NFL. He went through the offseason with this team and helped mold them into the championship-winning team they became. That contribution is enough. He definitely deserves the ring.
