Who survives the Champions League semifinal: Barcelona or Liverpool?
Life is a little easier when you have one of the greatest players to ever step on the field.
When Lionel Messi is on the field, Barcelona always has a shot to win, and in the Champions League, he's been flexing his muscles. Messi leads all Champions League scorers, and he'll be a focal point of the Liverpool defense. Good thing he has former Reds players Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho providing added pressure.
There is no way Liverpool can keep up with Barcelona.
Barcelona might have a dangerous trio, but Liverpool's threesome of forwards might be the deadliest on the entire continent.
Mohamed Salah has not slowed down from last year's pace, providing speed and touch-up front for the Reds. However, the beauty of Liverpool is their ability to share the wealth. Teams may focus on Salah, but he is more than willing to lay the ball off to Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. The three each have four goals heading into the semifinal round, and Barcelona doesn't have the defense to handle their attack.
The Reds will have no problem advancing to their second straight Champions League final.
