Should Rodney Hood be kicked off of the Cavaliers? | The Tylt
According to Bleacher Report, Cleveland Cavaliers' guard Rodney Hood refused to enter the fourth quarter in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. It seems that sweeping the Toronto Raptors did not make everyone happy. Many people feel that Hood abandoning his teammates is enough for the team to cut him from the team, let alone playing for the rest of the season. Still, the Cavs need all hands on deck if they want to make it to the NBA Finals. What do you think? 🏀

Should the Cavaliers tell Hood to kick rocks after what he did in Game 4?
Rodney Hood has been objectively trash since the playoffs started. He's shooting 13.3 percent from three-point range and playing matador defense; not great for who was supposed to be a key piece the Cavs picked up at the trade deadline.
Refusing to go in during garbage time and basically telling the team to screw off is a cocky move that Hood, a struggling player, cannot afford—especially during a contract year. The Cavs should send him packing for the rest of the season.
Rodney Hood has played awful on defense and offense. Can’t make a open shot and has not a clue what to do with the ball in his hand besides turn it over. We don’t have time for selfish players in the playoffs after a dominating series. Def bad for the locker room.

What Rodney Hood did is unacceptable, but it's understandable. The guy is struggling and obviously frustrated. He should be suspended for a game, but Cleveland needs him on the bench. The road only gets more difficult with either Boston or Philadelphia advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals, not to mention whatever team will represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.
If Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue utilized him correctly, Hood could be a dangerous scorer. This team needs everyone to win an NBA championship.
Lue doesnt know how to use players. This man can score and create offense with a good offensive plan.
