Kevin Love signed a four-year, $120 million extension to stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Love is going to be an important piece on the new-look Cavs who are without LeBron James. He was an All-Star with the Minnesota Timberwolves and some believe he deserves big money. Others believe $120 million is too much for a player who didn't score 20 points per game and didn't grab more than 10 rebounds per contest. What do you think? 🏀

LeBron James led the Cavaliers to a championship, but it was Kevin Love who was right by his side spacing the floor and rebounding the ball. After Kyrie Irving left, Love was the undisputed second best player on the Cavs.

Now that James is gone, Love can go back to being the main weapon, which he was used to in Minnesota. Love deserved to be paid.

Love is an important piece, but sinking $30 million per year into a disappointing player is ridiculous. Love hasn't averaged 20 points a game since 2014 and he's missed more games due to injury as he has progressed through his Cavs career. Giving him $120 million is a mistake.
