The Carolina Panthers finalized terms to sell the franchise to billionaire David Tepper. The hedge fund manager has assured fans that he intends to keep the team in Charlotte, but some feel he should move the team to South Carolina or elsewhere. Still, a move out of one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country would be a poor business move and alienate a lot of fans. What do you think? 🏈

The Panthers need a fresh start after Jerry Richardson's sexual misconduct allegations. A move to South Carolina or another market where they don't have to compete with the Washington Redskins for attention would make sense. Under a new owner, a move is inevitable.

Adam Schefter says Tepper plans to keep the franchise in Charlotte and that is a sound move. The team has built a great relationship with the city, and moving the team to South Carolina or elsewhere would isolate that fan base unnecessarily. Plus, Charlotte is one of the biggest markets in the country. It would be crazy to relocate the team.
