Carmelo Anthony is reportedly going to sign with the Houston Rockets after being waived by the Atlanta Hawks. While known for being a prolific scorer, some feel Melo is a downgrade and makes the team worse. But Carmelo Anthony can still dominate stretches of games with his ability to put the ball in the basket. With James Harden and Chris Paul on the Rockets, he'll have more room to operate with easier shots. What do you think? 🏀

Carmelo Anthony's ability to score was so great it masked a lot of holes in his game. Last year, he couldn't make things work with Paul George and Russell Westbrook taking the pressure off. If he had a career-low year with all that help, there is no way he will make the Rockets better.

Anthony always has a green light to shoot. Imagine the Syracuse legend taking open shots with Chris Paul and James Harden feeding him. He's going to have so much room to operate in the pace-and-space offense of Mike D'Antoni.

His role in D'Antoni's offense will have changed since his Knicks days. He will be an asset to Houston.
