Are the Yankees the ‘Evil Empire’ again? | The Tylt
In what was supposed to be a down year, the New York Yankees are wheeling and dealing to stay ahead in the playoff race. The Yankees added two former all-stars to their roster via trade, and look willing to buy talent to make it back to the top. However, trading for former all-stars isn’t exactly a power move that requires insane amounts of money. This isn't exactly the good ol' George Steinbrenner days, where the Yankees treated every other team like a farm system. What do you think? ⚾

Yankees blowing it. Either build the future or not. Cant do both. Especialy without getting a high end SP back in any deal. Makes no sense— tim (@mojo262592) July 19, 2017
