Are the Texas Rangers the most classless organization in baseball?

The Texas Rangers declined to switch their home series with the Houston Astros, whose city is literally under water thanks to Hurricane Harvey. The team said it didn’t want to inconvenience fans who bought tickets for the game in September. For the Rangers, it would’ve been a logistical nightmare. With the city of Houston suffering, a little relief in what amounts to a meaningless sporting event is the least the Rangers could have done. What do you think?

There is nothing that can be said to make things easier for the citizens of Houston, but it doesn't mean the Rangers have to be caught in the mess either. Rangers fans paid good money to see the team in September, and it wouldn't be fair to those fans if the series moved to Houston. It would also be a logistical nightmare to make it happen.

While unpopular, not switching the series location makes sense for the Rangers.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Millions of people are affected by Hurricane Harvey, and the Texas Rangers couldn't make a simple change to be more accommodating to the Houston Astros?

There are people fighting for their lives, and losing everything in this storm, but no, you're right Rangers organization, it would be too inconvenient for your fans to switch series locations. This may be one of the most classless and selfish moves made in human history. The Rangers need to right this wrong and switch locations for their series with the Astros.
