Should Tua Tagvailoa stay at Alabama?

Tua Tagovailoa dislocated his hip against Mississippi State, ending his season and maybe his career with the Crimson Tide. Some want him to stay with Alabama for one more year so he can fully recover and improve his draft stock for the NFL Draft in two years. Others don't see a point in him staying when it's obvious that it's too risky to stay in college and further hurting standing with the league. What do you think? 🏈

A dislocated hip isn't something to sniff at. Tagovailoa shouldn't entrust his recovery to doctors he is unfamiliar with. Staying at Alabama ensures he'll get the best care for him and time to fully recover. He will also get another year to prove he can be a healthy quarterback and end any doubt that he should be a top-3 pick in the NFL Draft.

If he enters the NFL this year, he will be thrown into the fire as soon as he is medically cleared. NFL teams don't really care about players' health. They're running a business and they need Tagovailoa on the field to make money.

He should stay in Tuscaloosa.

People who say Tagovailoa should stay in school are nuts. His stock may have taken a hit with this injury, but NFL teams won't pass up on a national championship-winning quarterback who nearly won the Heisman Trophy. There's a lot of money on the line and there is no way he should pass the chance at cashing that lottery ticket as soon as possible while people are still high on him.

The sooner Tagovailoa is in the NFL, the better it will be for him and his family. He should leave this year.
