Olympians have the benefit of having all of their limbs to compete. Paralympians do not, and that's why they are better athletes. It's hard enough skiing down a mountain with two legs and two arms, but try doing with one leg or one arm and see how fast you can go. These Paralympians not only have conquered life with a disability, they conquer mountains and perform high-level moves while being physically limited. Their ability to do that proves they are better athletes.

People watch the Olympics to see what peak physical achievement looks like. The Paralympics are inspiring, but the Olympics are still where you will find the best athletes. There are no Usain Bolts or Michael Phelpses at the Paralympics. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, fans saw a man crash at the beginning of a race and still finish with the gold medal through sheer will and ability. The Paralympics have great stories of perseverance, but so do the Olympics. They will always have the better athletes.
