Are calls for political 'civility' total bullshit?

Michelle Obama famously proclaimed "when they go low, we go high," but a lot of Democrats are tired of taking the high road. Maxine Waters urged people to "push back" against Trump officials and tell them "they're not welcome anymore, anywhere." But others argue now is not the time to abandon "civility," and we truly are stronger together. Are calls for civility bullshit, or crucial?

Is Twitter justice morally right or just mob rule?

Twitter took cannabis business owner Alison Ettel to task after she called the police on an eight-year-old black girl for selling water. Should NFL teams bring Terrell Owens out of retirement?

Terrell Owens is still NFL-ready, appearing to run a 4.4 40-yard dash at 44 years of age. There are plenty of teams that can use that kind of speed on the outside. The squads who are one player away from contending could be a great destination for him. Still, Owens has a long history of being a diva. No team needs that kind of distracting presence in the clubhouse. What do you think? 🏈

Should people have to work in order to receive food stamps?

House Republicans passed a farm bill that includes stricter work requirements for people receiving food stamps. SNAP recipients who fail to meet the 20-hour-per-week minimum could have their benefits taken away after one month. Critics argue it is cruel to punish the most vulnerable among us, and as many as 5.2 million Americans could lose access to food stamps as a result. But others believe it...
