Would you rather vote for Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden? | The Tylt
Joe Biden is in a commanding lead after major wins on Super Tuesday, reviving his flagging campaign. Despite barely campaigning in many of the states he won, Biden surged to the front in both the popular vote and delegate counts.
To many of his voters, Biden represents a return to the happier years of the Obama era—he's a known quantity who will provide stable and steady leadership. However, his critics say Biden's policies are ineffective and don't go far enough—we're facing existential issues with climate change, people are being crushed by debt between their health care costs and their schooling, and Biden's plans would not address any of those things.
On the other hand, Bernie Sanders is being held up as someone who can remake politics in America. Despite being the oldest candidate, he has the youngest base and is building a coalition that could revolutionize politics. If able to pass his ideas into law, the self-described socialist could fundamentally change America. However, that's what many people are afraid of. They worry Sanders' plans are too radical and will ultimately hurt the United States.

Symone D. Sanders, senior adviser to Biden, explains here why Biden will defeat Trump. In the 2016 election, Symone Sanders actually worked for the Bernie Sanders campaign.
Even Mike Bloomberg, who many feared would stick it out until the end, has lined up behind Biden as the best hope to defeat Trump.
Biden has a long history of getting things done for people in the US. He's especially competitive in the key swing states where he would have the ability to peel off voters from Trump.
Bernie's supporters say Biden lacks vision, imagination, and will to take on the biggest issues facing America. Rehashing the same tired solutions won't actually fix them.
For progressives, Sanders is the only choice that makes sense. They argue his platform is the platform that is best positioned to actually address the structural issues facing America.
Warren was a favorite for many. However, Sanders comes a close second—even if his followers may not be the most civil people, many aren't bothered by that. It's the platform that matters.
