In much of the analysis of Donald Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, it was pointed out Trump won over people who previously voted for Barack Obama. Clinton, for whatever reason, just didn't sell them on voting for her ticket. President Obama said he is "confident" that if he had been running, it would have been a decisive victory for the Democrats. But Trump is a political force Obama never had to deal with.
