The Trump administration just lifted the Obama-era ban on importing elephant trophies. Hunters will now be able to bring back the body parts of African elephants shot for sport, although such imports must be approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The ban had been challenged in court by Safari Club International and the lobbying arm of the National Rifle Association.
