Did the Trump campaign collude with Russia?
Former national security adviser to President Trump Michael Flynn has plead guilty to "willfully and knowingly" making "false, fictitious and fraudulent statements" to the FBI regarding conversations he had with the Russian ambassador.
[Flynn] is the first official of President Donald Trump's campaign and the fourth connected to his campaign to be charged as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between the Russian government and members of Trump's team, as well as potential obstruction of justice and financial crimes.
Last month, President Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates were charge with "conspiracy against the United States" and foreign policy adviser George Papadopolous is presumed to be cooperating with the FBI against Trump.
Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates were indicted last month; they pleaded not guilty. And Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty for making a false statement to the FBI over contacts with officials connected to the Russian government.
But the charge against Flynn is the first in Mueller's probe that has reached someone in the Trump White House and is the latest sign that the special counsel's investigation is intensifying.
But critics argue these latest developments are proof that the Trump campaign did in fact collude with the Russians.
Hillary Clinton literally warned you in great detail Trump and Russia was colluding, people dismissed her, mocked her, called her a sore loser, but she was speaking facts and the same man who started the lock her up chant, Mike Flynn, will bring team Trump down.
