Syria is facing one of the worst weeks of conflict after a ceasefire brokered by the US and Russia collapsed. The ceasefire was marred by an American airstrike on Syrian government forces, and a bombardment of a UN aid convoy by Russian forces. Critics think the U.S. should stay out of Syria entirely because the situation is too entangled to make a meaningful intervention. Supporters think it's America's responsibility to stop the massacre of civilians. What do you think? Vote below!

Something MUST be done to help the innocent people suffering in Syria. There is no easy solution, but the alternative is to ignore the Syrian people and let the slaughter continue.

It's nearly impossible to take decisive action because of the foreign powers currently involved in Syria. Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia are backing major groups in the conflict. The U.S. cannot take decisive action against the Syrian government, who is responsible for much of the violence and atrocities, without seriously pissing off Russia and Iran.

No one wants innocent people to suffer, but no one wants World War III. That would not be good.

Syria is so messed up that the *best option to maintain order* is the blood thirsty dictator who has been slaughtering his own citizens in order to stay in power. There's really no viable alternative.
