President Barack Obama broke with tradition to speak out against President Trump and his administration's fitful response to the coronavirus pandemic. During a speech to graduating high schoolers, Obama said in a thinly-veiled dig at the White House that "doing what feels good, what's convenient, what's easy—that's how little kids think. Despite having been in office for more than three years now, President Trump called Obama "grossly incompetent," shifting the blame and responsibility for the poor pandemic response on Obama's administration.
