Should Joe Biden run for president in 2020?
After eight years as Obama's vice president, Biden is undoubtedly qualified and prepared. His reputation for gaffes and hot-mic cursing has only made him more popular.
If he choose to run and wins, Biden would be 78 years old by the time of his inauguration in 2021—the oldest president in U.S. history. That's just too old for the toughest job in the world.
Biden clearly wishes he had run in 2016, and his fans say age ain't nothin' but a number.
Many Democrats are not happy Biden called Hillary a poor candidate in the wake of her loss to Donald Trump. Liberals who strongly object to the re-centering of the party around the white working class might not rally around Joe.
