Shepard Smith angered many Fox News viewers when he debunked the Uranium One "scandal" pushed by several political pundits on the network. Smith called President Trump's accusations "inaccurate" and scolded Republicans who have been calling for a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton. Some Fox News viewers are calling on the network to fire Smith, and think he'd be better suited for CNN or MSNBC. But others are applauding Smith, and think he's desperately needed at Fox.
