Los Angeles broadcaster Leeann Tweeden alleged Sen. Al Franken "kissed and groped" her without her consent in 2006, and released a photo to back up her claim. Many are calling on the junior senator from Minnesota to resign, but Franken himself released an apology and claimed the photo was "clearly intended to be funny." Others believe it is hypocritical for conservatives to call for Franken's resignation when they continue to defend sexual predators in the Republican party. What do you think?

KABC radio host Leeann Tweeden alleged the popular Democratic junior senator from Minnesota "kissed and groped" her against her will in 2006 while they were rehearsing a skit for a USO show.

He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said ‘OK’ so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.
I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time. I walked away. All I could think about was getting to a bathroom as fast as possible to rinse the taste of him out of my mouth.

After publishing her story, along with a photo of Franken groping Tweeden while smiling at the camera, many expressed outrage and called on Sen. Al Franken to step down.

Franken released a statement in which he apologized to Leeann, and claimed the photo was "clearly intended to be funny."

And while few have outright defended Franken, many believe equating his offense to that of Roy Moore is unacceptable.

And others believe Trump supporters, who supported a candidate who openly bragged about assaulting women, have no place to call for Franken's resignation.

Still, many Democrats are urging fellow liberals not to excuse Franken's actions just because he is admired.
