Rudy Giuliani said there were no 'successful radical Islamic' terror attacks in US before Obama. | The Tylt
While stumping for Donald Trump and criticizing Barack Obama's leadership, 'America's mayor' seemed to forget about the 9/11 attacks which happened 7 years before Obama took office. Here's a politician who has used the phrase "never forget" countless times, but ditches it when not politically convenient. Or, perhaps Giuliani's point was simply that the US was safer before Obama took office. There have been 7 attacks in 8 years and while 9/11 was obviously tragic, it is essentially the lone attack that predates Obama.
Rudy Giuliani said there were no 'successful radical Islamic' terror attacks in US before Obama.
Here's the speech where Giuliani says "Under those 8 years before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attacks in the United states. They all started when Clinton and Obama got into office."
The 9/11 attacks killed nearly 3,000 people.
Here's Giuliani as mayor of NY on 9/11. Obviously he didn't forget about this event. He even brings up 9/11 in the speech. He was making a point about how bad things have gotten since Obama took office.
