Should service providers drop NRATV?

NRATV has been the center of controversy for its provocative and aggressive videos, and John Oliver recently made a mockery of the channel's more ridiculous shows. Many are calling on companies like Apple, Google, Amazon and Direct TV to drop NRATV, arguing it promotes violent propaganda. But NRATV has defended its right to exist, and even critics believe infringing in the channel's free speech isn't the answer. What do you think? 📺

NRATV has been at the center of controversy for a while, but it's increasingly aggressive content is beginning to catch more attention. On his HBO show "Last Week Tonight," John Oliver highlighted some of NRATV's more ridiculous shows and illustrated how the channel uses fear and hate to promote the NRA's agenda.

“The final defining characteristic of the network,” Oliver said, “is painting a bleak vision of America, with threats around every single corner and one solution.” As proof, he rolled a clip in which various talking heads from the network painted a terrifying picture of “today’s America,” noting, “They’re using the same techniques as an infomercial there: Is human traffic getting you down? Do you have ISIS sympathizers in those hard-to-reach places? Are you tired of getting 9/11-ed? There’s got to be a better way! Try the AR-15, available at way too many stores near you.”

But NRATV fired back at John Oliver, thanking him for the exposure and defending what the channel does.

But NRATV still isn't back down, releasing another video on the night of the Oscars attacking Hollywood, the media and athletes who "use their free speech" to "undermine what our flag represents."
