Do you miss the Obamas? | The Tylt

NowThis posted an adorable video of former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama giving their first Christmas address from the White House in which Barack cannot stop giggling:
Many supporters of Obama expressed how much they miss the 44th president and his family.

Such a beautiful couple. The genuine love and warmth they exude contrasts to the current WH occupants, who are so stiff and uncomfortable together.

SNL released a hilarious music video earlier this year titled "Come Back, Barack," begging the former president to return.
But not everyone misses the Obamas. To those who believe the Obama administration was a failure and believe his presidency was the main contributor to America's unprecedented divide, they're glad to see him gone.
The only way u could miss Obama is it u r happy with a bad economy, lack of jobs, love ISIS, and pretty much want the country too fail

One of the very few things that Obama did not fail at was dividing this country like never before.

And the anger doesn't just come from Trump fans. Plenty of people on the left decry Obama's policies as neoliberal corporatism that handed us Trump. In his recent critique of Ta-Nehisi Coates, Cornel West called out Coates for failing to recognize how damaging the Obama presidency truly was.
[Obama remained] silent on the 563 drone strikes, the assassination of US citizens with no trial, the 26,171 bombs dropped on five Muslim-majority countries in 2016 and the 550 Palestinian children killed with US supported planes in 51 days... myopic political neoliberalism has no place for keeping track of Wall Street greed, US imperial crimes or black elite indifference to poverty.
