Melania Trump has had a hard time adjusting to her role as First Lady. On Inauguration Day, a viral video of Melania frowning inspired the hashtag #FreeMelania. She was criticized for wearing stiletto heels to a disaster site. Melania was attacked by Trump's first wife, Ivana. And now the story of Trump's affair with a porn star just four months after their son was born is all over the news.

Slate’s Jacob Weisberg reported that in 2016, Daniels, whose given name is Stephanie Clifford, told him that in 2006 she and Trump began a sexual relationship that lasted nearly a year... the adult film actor and director claimed that her affair with Trump included an unusual act: spanking him with a copy of Forbes magazine.
Daniels is one of several women associated with pornography who have claimed to have had sexual encounters with Trump.

The latest news has many people feeling bad for Melania. Reports suggest she never wanted to be First Lady and is a deeply private person. It's hard enough being married to Donald Trump, let alone having your personal business on the front page of every magazine. Does she really deserve the humiliation?

But others think Melania isn't deserving of anyone's pity. She publicly supported Trump's racist birther movement—which suggested President Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. She has been hypocritical toward immigrants despite having worked illegally in the U.S. herself for a number of years. And her "anti-bullying" campaign is a complete joke. Melania is not a victim, she's an enabler.
