Melania Trump was hospitalized after undergoing kidney surgery, and President Trump reportedly was not there. Between Stormy Daniels and Trump being too busy to get Melania a birthday gift, many say it's time for Melania to leave her husband. She's clearly miserable, and the humiliations are just going to get worse as further details come out about Trump's personal life. But others say if Hillary could stand by Bill Clinton, Melania can weather this storm. Should Melania leave Donald?

Donald Trump was reportedly not present when Melania underwent kidney surgery.

President Trump‘s West Wing may gush leaks, but First Lady Melania Trump‘s Monday-morning hospitalization for a procedure to treat an unspecified “benign kidney condition” was kept secret by her East Wing staff until an announcement by email at 3:11 p.m. ET.
The president remained at the White House throughout, with two meetings on his public schedule for Monday: his daily intelligence briefing in the Oval Office at 11 a.m. and then, at 12:30 p.m. in his private dining room, lunch with Vice President Mike Pence.

Many feel this was an extremely selfish move. Nobody is too busy to be by their wife's side after surgery.

But Donald Trump is the president. He's busier than most people, and he did eventually visit his wife in the hospital.

And the president did give updates about her recovery.

After the Stormy Daniels scandal broke, many began wondering whether the first lady would stand by her man.

Eric Schiffer argues in Newsweek that if the first lady leaves the president, her stock will tank. Showing loyalty to Trump, despite the numerous cheating allegations, will garner sympathy for her with the American public.

Notwithstanding the emotional and psychological impact, what would be the impact of a divorce on the image of Melania Trump?
Like Hillary, after news of the Lewinsky scandal broke, the first lady is now earning an empathy element from those who relate to her feelings of being betrayed. In fact, it has served to yield her some degree of bipartisan empathy. The country watched the recent State of the Union where her body language signaled emotional pain. Irrespective of one's party, people can understand the difficult feelings that arise from being on the receiving end of an unfaithful partner.

Others say to hell with loyalty. Melania never signed up for this. She should divorce him, write a tell-all book, go on tour and join the Resistance.

But a Quinnipiac poll found 42 percent of Republicans think the swirling allegations of Trump's affairs are nonsense, and that he's always been faithful to Melania.

Others say even if Donald Trump is joking about the divorce at this point, she should just pull the trigger.

Trump made the cruel and cringeworthy joke about Melania leaving him at Washington D.C. annual Gridiron Dinner on March. 3. He told a packed audience, “So many people have been leaving the White House. It’s actually been really exciting and invigorating ‘cause you want new thought. So, I like turnover. I like chaos. It really is good. Now the question everyone keeps asking is, ‘Who is going to be the next to leave? Steve Miller or Melania?’ That is terrible honey, but you love me, right?
