Should Kanye West run for president? | The Tylt
Kanye West has found himself in hot water after he expressed support for President Trump, criticized former President Barack Obama, and now claims slavery was "a choice." Many think Kanye is seriously considering a presidential run. He even tweeted out a #Kanye2024 poster. And why shouldn't he? He wouldn't be the first celebrity to run for office. Others think Kanye is a total clown, and he's just looking for attention. Should Kanye West run for president in 2024?
Should Kanye West run for president?
You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018
Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018
So now you're on Twitter bad mouthing president Obama? You're a bitchass. I'll never buy another Kanye west cd. Chicago is your home too. What have you done? You're rich. Did you go back and do anything? Did you get involved in your community?— Karen 💦👊🏽🇺🇸 (@kcarter0912) April 26, 2018
Victim blacks have been so brainwashed to commit to the past, that they are incapable of seeing the future.— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 25, 2018
Same black media hosts that are calling Kanye racist, crazy, drug addict—will regret it by 2024.
The more Kanye succeeds, the more they will fail. @oldmanebro
Kanye is 40. Prime age for running in 2024. Cruz and Rubio were both in their mid-40s during their 2016 campaigns.— Rosie Gray (@RosieGray) April 25, 2018
if you want to be terrified ask yourself if kanye would make a better president than trump then realize you have to think about it— Sarah Beattie (@nachosarah) April 26, 2018
To be clear, my problem isn’t with Kanye. He can think, say, and support whatever or whomever he likes. That’s freedom. My problem is with the idiots who think that because he dons a MAGA hat, he’s suddenly qualified to be president.— Melissa Quinn Amour (@MelissaAmour72) April 26, 2018
Stop. The. Celebrity. Worship.
Stop giving Kanye the attention he’s desperate for. Last time we did that, some huge asshole become president.— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) April 25, 2018
These MAGA folks really think Kanye is with them. Nope. He saw Trump become the center of attention by duping America’s most gullible group and decided he wanted in on the con.— Adam Best (@adamcbest) April 25, 2018
