The United States added 151,000 jobs to the economy in August and the unemployment rate remained steady at 4.9 percent. Some folks contend the numbers are totally bogus and do not account for the millions of young men no longer looking for work. They say these numbers are being used to help prop up a Democratic president. Policy wonks have long argued that skeptics who call the jobs number a lie are just tinfoil nutters.
