Should the Trump administration reunite families separated at the border? | The Tylt
President Trump signed an executive order to temporarily halt the separation of families at the U.S.-Mexico border. Critics say the executive order contains a number of problematic loopholes and does nothing to reunite the thousands of children already separated from their parents. But others think Trump has done more than enough to address the issue, and migrant families need to follow the law if they wish to stay together. What do you think?

Trump's executive order allows families to stay together in detention centers indefinitely while parents are prosecuted, but does nothing to address the families who have already been separated.
Trump's executive order... simply directs the administration to do the thing they said they couldn’t do: keep children along with their parents in immigration detention while the parents are prosecuted, and while the family’s immigration case is resolved. The Trump administration is hoping this will result in their speedy deportation, but if not, it’s now willing to detain the family indefinitely.
Many feel this is unacceptable. Thousands of young children have been separated from their parents. The Trump administration must take steps to reunite those families.
This Executive Order in no way deals with reuniting the *two thousand three hundred* children who have been torn away from their parents and remain separated. When will they see their parents again? They must be reunited immediately.

Others argue Trump's executive order is nothing more than a show. It still puts the burden on Congress to find a permanent solution and raises concerns about due process. Families are still being held in cages and the Trump administration isn't taking any steps to actually fix the problem they created.

1. THE CHILDREN HAVE NOT BEEN RETURNED
2. THE SEPARATIONS HAVE NOT STOPPED YET
3. LOOPHOLES IN THE EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATE WIGGLE ROOM TO DO IT AGAIN
4. THE LIES ("no policy, period" "only Congress can stop this") HAVE BEEN EXPOSED SO THEY GET NO BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT
Others think liberals are just being ridiculous at this point. Trump is stopping the family separation policy, but these are still people who broke the law and should face punishment.
Even after President Trump issued an Executive Order allowing migrant adults with children to stay together after apprehension on the border, the hate-Trump press continued to hammer the President in deeply personal ways.

No surprise.
Liberals don't really care about family separation, they just want open borders and that's not going to happen.
If POTUS caves on illegals the Left will never stop pushing until they get amnesty and open borders. Give them these victories and we lose border security. Enough.
