Gov. Jerry Brown endorses Hillary. Do Bernie's supporters have a right to be upset? | The Tylt
California Governor Jerry Brown announced he's endorsing Hillary Clinton for president in an "Open Letter to California Democrats and Independents." He wrote that "Hillary Clinton has convincingly made the case that she knows how to get things done and has the tenacity and skill to advance the Democratic agenda."
But Brown did compliment Clinton's runner-up Bernie Sanders:
I have closely watched the primaries and am deeply impressed with how well Bernie Sanders has done. He has driven home the message that the top one percent has unfairly captured way too much of America’s wealth, leaving the majority of people far behind. In 1992, I attempted a similar campaign.
Sanders' supporters are upset that Brown would endorse Clinton — some going as far as calling Brown a sellout, especially for someone who's been revered as a grassroots politician. Do Sanders' supporters have a right to be mad that Brown chose Clinton over him?
Clinton's supporters are disgusted with the backlash. Even more so, they are pointing out that Clinton is still in the lead and that with this endorsement Sanders should just drop out already.
What do you think: #BrownForHillary or #BrownPlayedBernie?

Worth noting that Jerry Brown is also a superdelegate, which means Clinton is now only 72 delegates away from clinching the Dem nomination— Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) May 31, 2016

They even called him "Gov. Moonbeam".
Listen to me Jerry Brown, you better endorse Bernie Sanders as fast as you can get your scrawny Governor's ass to a podium!— mark slavin (@markslavin2) May 20, 2016

"I like Bernie better & love what he says, so I'm endorsing Clinton!"
Even Governor Moon Beam sells out.
