Does California need to overhaul its "Forrest Management" system?
One of the most dangerous features of a Forrest fire is its ability to gather others along with it, unstoppably sweeping across the nation until it seemingly ends on its own.
The State of California is currently ill-equipped to handle such forces of nature, as they are currently set up to deal with forest fires, not Forrest fires. The president is right to withhold funds until they refocus their efforts on the correct type of Forrest.
Taking away funding California will dangerously penalize the state, putting citizens at a far greater risk for catastrophic fires such as the ones seen towards the end of 2018. More funding and regulation, not less, is what will help the State of California prepare for the future.
And anyway, all Forrests really want are to put down roots and build a life.
