Should President Trump fire Ben Carson? | The Tylt
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson is in hot water for reportedly spending $31,000 of taxpayer money on a dining set. Carson has denied any involvement in the purchase of the dining set, but it hasn't stopped some from demanding he step down. Many believe Carson was never qualified to lead HUD in the first place, but others feel Carson should be left alone. Do you think Trump should fire Ben Carson?

Though he has denied the allegations, Carson landed himself in hot water when it was revealed he spent $31,000 of taxpayer money on a dining set.
Secretary Ben Carson and his spokesman say he had little or no involvement in the purchase of a $31,000 furniture set for his Department of Housing and Urban Development dining room... [But] emails show Carson and his wife selected the furniture themselves.
Many feel this is the final straw for Ben Carson. He wasn't qualified to head HUD in the first place, and the revelations that he's misusing taxpayer money is pushing many over the edge.
Ben Carson supported Trump cutting over $6 billion in HUD funding, while he used taxpayer money to buy a $31,000 table for his office.

RT if you DEMAND #CarsonResign.
#Trump should fire ANYBODY who uses taxpayer money as a private piggy bank. Was #BenCarson's dining room table really ordered by career staffers? And if so, WHO? And was Ben only shown pictures, or did he also know the cost? https://t.co/ql8T4Fqpz4

But Carson canceled the order for the $31,000 set, claiming it was an honest mistake. Is expensive furniture really a fireable offense?
Carson is requesting order for $31,000 dining set be cancelled, per statement provided to CNN by longtime advisor Armstrong Williams. Carson says he âwas as surprised as anyone to find out that a $31,000 dining set had been ordered.â

Others feel Carson is being attacked because he's conservative, not because he did anything wrong.
