A new Associated Press poll found 62 percent of Americans think we're headed in the wrong direction. The majority of Americans are not happy about the direction we are heading in.

But Trump supporters point to deregulation, tax cuts and corporate investments as indicators that the country is actually on the right track.

...after years of complacency and failure, our great nation might finally be on track to once again become an economic powerhouse.

But many on the left point to increasing hate crimes and racist violence; attacks on freedom of the press; and the gutting of countless environmental protections as evidence we are on the worst of tracks possible.

Others felt the country was going the wrong way under Obama, and are relieved to have Trump and conservatives at the wheel.
