Would a Kanye and Drake album live up to expectations? | The Tylt
Kanye and Drake are two of the biggest stars in pop music, and on Monday night they hinted at a collaborative album.
During a performance Kanye asked "Is y'all ready for this album?" He went on to say "I wasn't talking about 'Pablo.' I wasn't talking about 'Views.' I wanna ask y'all right now. Are y'all ready for this album?" He pointed to Drake who responded in kind. Earlier in the year, Drake said he and Kanye were exploring doing a mixtape together.
If this album happens it could have more genius than any album should contain, putting it up there with great collaborations like Run DMC and Aerosmith that will last through the ages. But it could also be an utter disaster that just can't live up to the hype. Remember when Limp Bizkit and Method Man got together. Sure, it was a hit song for the summer, but we'd all be better people if we just forgot that song ever existed.
What do you think? Would it be #KanyeDrakeFTW or could it be #KanyeDrakeOverhyped?
