Rihanna and Beyoncé have been compared for years, but if the two artists share anything in common it's how much they slay. Queen Bey and Bad Gal RiRi were nominated for Favorite Female Artist - Soul/R&B. In 2016, Bey got us "in formation" and let us sip her "lemonade." But Rihanna taught us how to "work, work, work, work, work, work." They produced two of the biggest albums this year, but which artist deserves to win? Read more and vote below! 🎤

Bey and RiRi are nominated in three of the same categories for America Music Awards—"Favorite Female Artist - Soul/R&B," "Favorite Album - Soul/R&B" and "Artist of the Year." Who should win big?

Rihanna is a total badass. She surpassed Michael Jackson in #1 hits. She scored her 14th #1 single with "Work" in early 2016. Plus, she garnered her second consecutive #1 album with "Anti." Then, RiRi won the 2016 MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award after four epic performances! There's no other artist in 2016 that has mastered eclectic, crossover pop music like her. RiRi definitely deserves to win big at the AMAs.

Beyoncé always slays. ALWAYS.

Just look at her numbers from this year alone. She scored her sixth consecutive album to debut atop the Billboard 200 with "Lemonade." Plus, it's her sixth consecutive album to sell at least one million albums in the U.S. And she's the only artist to have their first six albums debut atop the Billboard 200. "Lemonade" was accompanied with a groundbreaking visual album that aired on HBO. Her "Formation Tour" reportedly earned $250 million in 2016. And let's not forget her epic VMAs performance where she gave us a mini-concert performance of "Lemonade."

Queen Bey continues to break records, and she deserves to win every single AMA she's nominated for.
