White wrote, recorded, and produced the joyful "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe," which was the first single from his 1974 album "Can't Get Enough." The track went to #1 on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts, and has become one of his signature songs.
"Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe," appears in several episodes of "The Simpsons." White was a huge fan of the show, and recorded a version specially for the episode "Whacking Day," in which he also appeared as a guest star.
White wrote, produced, and recorded "Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up" for his 1973 album "Stone Gon'." Famous lyrics include "I'm never ever gonna quit/'Cause quittin' just ain't my schtick," and the sultry track kicks off with one of the sexiest sighs of the seventies. It reached #2 on the U.S. R&B charts and #7 on the Hot 100.
