Dom is a street racer, auto-mechanic, ex-convict, and anti-hero. Vin has managed to develop the character over the course of seven motion pictures and one short film, becoming one of the franchise's most beloved characters. Dom is Vin's longest-running movie role, meaning many of his fans most associate him with playing Dom more than any other character Vin has portrayed.

Vin might have played Dom in seven films, but Triple X is just as popular if not more. In fact, some might argue the extreme sportsman and stuntman is more iconic. The movie star already starred in "Pitch Black" in 2000 and "The Fast and the Furious" in 2001 when he took on the role of Xander in "xXx" in 2002, but it was this character that cemented him as an action movie star.
Vin was not only the only leading man in "xXx," but the first film was a box office hit, grossing more $277 million worldwide. He wouldn't portray Triple X again until 2017 in "The Return of Xander Cage," giving him a blockbuster that grossed $346 million worldwide.
