While The CW (DC) and Netflix (Marvel) dominated the superhero show genre throughout the '10s, Amazon Prime's "The Tick" pilot premiered in 2016. "The Tick" follows the  big, weird strongman in a blue Tick suit and his buddy Arthur as they battle a reemerged supervillain The Terror. The show has been a campy, clever, adventurous and hilarious trip ever since then.
