Will ABC ever cast a Black man on 'The Bachelor'?

The Bachelor has to talk about the elephant in the room, and Batchelor Nation is fed up. ABC's "The Bachelor" has been airing for 22 seasons and the network has yet to cast a Black man as the Bachelor. Fans have expressed their frustrations with the lack of diversity on the show to the point where the president of ABC made a statement about the issue. The president of ABC, Karey Burke addressed the lack of diversity on "The Bachelor" in 2019 but based on her statement it doesn't sound like a Black Bachelor will happen anytime soon.

"I can tell you, the conversations are ongoing about who the next Bachelor will be," Burke replied. "I do think that the show has worked hard to increase diversity in casting. And, as that evolves, we'll continue to see more diversity in the franchise."
