As Thanos displayed in Infinity War, whoever has access to the legendary Infinity Stones instantly becomes arguably the most powerful figure in the universe. The Mad Titan has a long-running connection with the stones and the character’s infamous quest to gather them and reshape the universe in his image (in the comics and on the big screen) is part of some of the most famous stories in Marvel’s long history.
Darkseid has the Anti-Life Equation:
...the formula represents the dark side (pun intended) of life itself. At times, such as Final Crisis, Darkseid has gained control of the Equation and the results are often catastrophic. Grant Morrison, in his famous Seven Soldiers miniseries, established that the Equation is built on loneliness, despair, mockery, condemnation, judgment, among others, and it can be used to influence sentient creatures.
#ThanosFTW because we witnessed the Mad Titan wipe away half of all life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He literally took down Avenger after Avenger, and then erased them by rewriting universal history. Whew...Darkseid might want to watch out.
