The adventures of Superman's cousin in her own superhero career.

Some say "Supergirl" only got better in season two. Tribune News Service's Rick Bentley wrote:

The move away from so much time spent with Linda Danvers, the secret identity of Supergirl, chatting with Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) helped move this series from being a soap opera with a female hero to a much better action series.
A special bonus is how the producers are mining old Superman projects for guest stars including Laura Vandervoort, who played Supergirl on "Smallville." These are fun elements for loyal fans.

Below is the synopsis of "Jessica Jones," per IMDB

Following the tragic end of her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.

After an acclaimed first season, Marvel fans are ready for season two. Indiewire's Liz Shannon Miller gave the first season a grade A.

Jessica Jones is well-executed on the level we've come to expect from Netflix-produced series, featuring a top-notch cast, solid writing and great use of its New York location to invoke both classic noir and '70s cinema.
