'RuPaul's Drag Race' Ultimate Queen: Bebe Zahara Benet or Raja?
So far, there have been eight queens with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent who have won "Drag Race" and became "America's next drag superstar." But before yet another queen is crowned on the upcoming season nine finale in June, we want you to name the "Drag Race" winner from any of the first eight seasons who has gone on to become the show's "Ultimate Queen."
In our first round, Bebe Zahara Benet (season one) beat Tyra Sanchez (season two); Raja (season three) topped Sharon Needles (season four); Bianca Del Rio (season six) crushed Jinkx Monsoon (season five); and Bob the Drag Queen (season eight, the most recent winner) won over Violet Chachki (season seven.
Now it's Bebe Zahara Benet versus Raja, and Bianca Del Rio versus Bob the Drag Queen in the second round. Let the shade continue... and in the words of Ms. RuPaul herself, "don't fuck it up!"
Who's the ultimate "Drag Race" winner?
She's the first-ever winner of "RPDR," but season one is considered the "lost season." Nevertheless, Bebe might be the fiercest queen of them all. Yes, there's been some major upgrades to "RPDR" since season one, but Bebe continues to slay after all these years. Plus, she paved the way for many more queens to come. Bebe might be a little unsung, but real "RPDR" and drag culture fans know and love this fierce hero.
Many continue to applaud Raja for her makeup and sewing abilities. Everyone should know that in order to be "America's next drag superstar" you have to be able to do your hair and makeup, and know how to lip sync and sew! You👏 have👏 to👏 be👏 beat. And Raja stayed beat during season three and beyond.
