Favorite adventurous cartoon: 'Rugrats' or 'The Wild Thornberrys'?

"Rugrats" and "The Wild Thornberrys" are TV classics. Both series have carved out a space for themselves in the realm of nostalgia, but the shows would be nothing without some of their key characters. "Rugrats" hit Nickelodeon in 1990 and became a smash. All of the characters were special, but many would agree Tommy Pickles carried the series. "The Wild Thornberrys" was released on Nick in 1998, and while fans were in love with Eliza Thornberry and her best friend (a talking monkey), for many, her father Nigel Thornberry was the real star.
